FREE FALL
(Chadbourne)
Running, dancing, reds and yellows
Bronze and purple afternoons
Blowing, bluing, eyes awakened
Whisps of freedom
Calling, beckoning
Oh so natural
Being together again
Wanting it to never end
Being together again with you
In a free fall
Saddlebrown mystery, talks in sunlight
Laughter high in the hills
Half smile kissing in Indian summer
An unmade bed and buckleheads
Inconsequential
Being together again
Wanting it to never end
Being together again with you
In a free fall
For two weeks straight
I've walked around town kickin' leaves
It's so peculiar
I can't name it, but I can feel it
I'm filming it all, reviewing the footage
Being together again
Wanting it to never end
Being together again with you
In a free fall
